Bye Bye Vancouver

This time in English. Just to thank all the people I've met here, guys you are amazing. I really enjoyed my time in Vancouver and I expect some visitors in Whistler ;-) Special thanks to: Corean (for having this name), the CAE class (whilst generally agreeing with all of you I must admit that we would have had more fun if we attended all a bit more frequently... but that's just the downside :-D), David and Pia (miss your battles), Mathieu and Wasabi, the homeless guy on Granville Skytrainstation who opened the door so many times for me, Nathalie, Nathalie, Nathalie and Nathalie, Robyn for the double chin pictures no one ever will see, my homestay for the 80 sandwiches, SameSun Pub for having us eaten Nachos every time, the Waterfront gym for letting us play Volleyball on Thuesday, Helene for the correct spelling of "ménage à trois" during the lesson, the twins... do you have any idea how long it took me before I knew who is who? The policeman on the US border for letting me in... and out, the policeman on the Canadian border for letting me in, Fabio for making comments on my Blog, Ida for being Ida, Leo (the dictionary), Evi for being there for me as if I never had left the cute country, Bruno with one girlfriend for every continent,
the duck which ate too much bread, Steve for acting Minny Mouse, the good looking guys in the gym, the guy who has Peach Mentos in his store and the other one who speaks french with me, CN Backpackers for letting me stay and use the hairstraightener, Facebook for all the stupid requests and the English guy who bought me, Chocolate for being so sweet, Tati for selling bags in IH, "Friends" for spicing the Upper Inter- mediate class up. IH for the living room and the worst coffee all over the world, the coffee place two blocs away for being so friendly, Cuppa Joes for the best cones in town, Lugz for the best wireless internet connection, amazing tea and lifemusic on Friday night and last but not least... Ed for driving 5000km and enjoying it, feeding ducks until they get sick, finding pennies, rambling, staring at people and making jokes about them, giving me your whole music library, not telling your car that it was going to be sold until the very last moment, improving my relationship to Sushi, downloading Commander Keen and some other things. Thank you, Danke, Merci, Grazie, Gracias, Danku, Arigato, Doh Je, Obrigado/Obrigada, Xie Xie, Spasibo, Dhanyawaada, Takk
